Senior Java Developer– Financial Applications

Location: Infopark, KochiExperience Level: 7+ YearsDepartment: Technology / Financial Systems DevelopmentReports To: Technical ArchitectAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with at least 7 years of core Java development experience, ideally in financial services, banking, or fintech domains. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building secure, high-performance, low-latency financial applications. This is a hands-on development role that requires strong technical expertise and an understanding of financial business processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications used in financial services (e.g., trading systems)Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and QA to gather and refine requirements.Implement secure, fault-tolerant, and scalable software solutions.Ensure high performance and low latency of systems with large transaction volumes.Integrate with third-party APIs, financial data providers, and internal microservices.Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce clean coding standards.Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.Must-Have Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in Java SE/EE development.Strong experience with:Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)RESTful APIs and MicroservicesMultithreading and ConcurrencyJPA/Hibernate, JDBCSQL and Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)Hands-on experience with financial systems such as:
