The Teacher Librarian will be responsible for overseeing library operations, managing resources, and creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include curating and organizing library materials, delivering library instruction sessions, assisting with research and information literacy, and ensuring effective library management. The role involves supporting curriculum goals and fostering a culture of inquiry and lifelong learning.QualificationsExperience in Library Services, including resource curation and supporting users in accessing materials and informationExpertise in Library Science and Metadata to organize and classify information accuratelySkills in Library Management, including resource acquisition, catalog maintenance, and fostering a welcoming library environmentAbility to deliver Library Instruction focused on information literacy, research methodologies, and fostering student engagementStrong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for inspiring learnersFamiliarity with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and inquiry-based learning is a plusMaster’s degree in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field
