Job Title: Senior BI Developer

About role: We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer with over 4 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI / Tableau reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
  • Develop and optimize data models to support business reporting requirements.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query, DAX, and other relevant tools.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing thorough testing and validation.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for data governance and security within the Power BI environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Power BI /Tableau development.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying Power BI solutions in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau including DAX, Power Query, and M language.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
