Role Purpose:

The purpose of a Field Service Engineer is to provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services to biomedical equipment in hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems, installing and configuring new systems, and providing ongoing training and support to medical staff. The engineer must have excellent knowledge of biomedical equipment and systems and be able to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise. They must also have strong customer service skills and be able to work well with medical personnel.


Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing service and installation of medical equipment in hospitals, medical clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This includes troubleshooting and repairing medical devices, performing preventative maintenance, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, in-depth knowledge of medical equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment
  • Conduct on-site training for medical staff on the use of medical equipment

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineer, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instrumentation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingly to perform in technical trouble shooting, repairing and preventive maintenance of medical equipment and accessories.
  • Experience in surgical products an added advantage.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Open to Travel.
