  • Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment


  • Ability to mentor others, including peers and application developers, clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users


  • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot the “end to end” data integration environment comprised of data sources, data workflows and transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, networks


  • Day to day administration activities like user creation, folder creation, configuring DB connections


  • Capacity planning and on-going monitoring


  • Maintain and continuously improve Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (Tidal) orchestration process


  • Work with projects to ensure that Tidal integration is considered during planning and build phase of projects and across all SDLC environments that Tidal supports


  • Own and maintain documentation for Tidal work on new documentation that comes in through project or operational work for new jobs


  • Provide reporting related to Tidal and other scheduling parameters such as job trending and other resource utilization within the nightly batch schedule


  • Develop and test the integration solution individually or in collaboration with onsite/offshore development resources from external delivery partners.



Education for Informatica Administrator

a relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technical, Information Technology, Business, Education, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics


Skills for Informatica Administrator


  • Informatica software security model and adaptability
  • AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica PowerCenter v10.x
  • Data quality paradigms and data governance concepts
  • DevOps methodologies and best practices
  • Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange 9.x
  • Current cloud & software technologies and uses
  • Data Integration with Hadoop and Informatica
  • Higher administration on Linux/Unix and Windows server platforms
  • Linux/Unix
  • AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica MDM v10.x and PowerCenter v10.x


Desired experience for informatica administrator includes:


  • Write computer programming code


  • Evaluate project designs to determine adequacy or feasibility


  • Develop diagrams or flow charts of system operation


  • Good analytical skills to troubleshoot the issues with system performance, connectivity to various data sources, space and system logging


  • Experience in SOX requirements, Audit reports and BCPs that are mandatory for running the platform


  • 5 years’ experience in database management in UNIX based DB2 and/or Oracle databases and warehouses
