We are currently seeking a Game Sound Engineer to bring our worlds to life with captivating sound design, music integration, and audio engineering.

Role Overview :

As a Game Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, recording, editing, and implementing sound effects, music, and voiceovers that elevate gameplay. You'll work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure audio enhances storytelling, gameplay mechanics, and overall player immersion.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and create high-quality sound effects for characters, environments, weapons, UI, and more.
  • Record, edit, and process dialogue, Foley, and ambient sounds.
  • Mix and master in-game audio to achieve clarity, balance, and emotional impact.
  • Implement audio into game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) using middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
  • Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to ensure audio supports gameplay.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize audio performance across platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques in game audio.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Sound Engineer, Audio Designer, or similar role in games.
  • Proficiency with DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper, Ableton, Logic Pro, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD).
  • Experience with Foley, field recording, and sound libraries.
  • Understanding of mixing and mastering for different devices (PC, console, mobile).
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Strong knowledge of game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Experience with adaptive/interactive audio systems.
  • Knowledge of music composition or scoring.
  • Familiarity with spatial audio, VR/AR audio design, or 3D sound systems.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player experience.
