The Solution Architect, Solution Engineering has a significant role in developing large-scale enterprise level backend-end solutions and ensuring that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization. This role has significance in the designing and architecture of digital projects to improve financial services for families, small businesses, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations.
Role Responsibilities
To build, monitor, maintain CI/CD pipeline automation environments, assist the application development team to adopt and leverage CI/CD pipeline for code deployments.
Work closely with other DevOps engineers, operations, and developers to port pipelines to WU 2.0 framework and then further mature the pipelines.
Ability to provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud using infrastructure as a code pipeline.
Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Develop technical & domain expertise and apply it to solving product challenges.
Create application deployment pipelines for services like ECS Fargate, EC2, and other AWS resources.
Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other team members geographically distributed to ensure timely and successful delivery of new software releases.
Deploy updates and fixes and provide responsive support as needed.
Perform Release Management activities for the application, (build packaging, involve in Load testing with Performance Team, oversee deployment, Certificate renewal etc.,)
Emphasize customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
Role Requirements
5 - 8 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of software systems which includes 2+ years of experience on cloud platform (preferably on AWS).
Extensive expertise with tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, JFrog, CloudBees, and SonarQube.
Hands-on programming experience in AWS, EKS, Cloud forms/Terraform, k8s, Spinnaker, F5, Networking, Lambda, cloud watch, metrics, Splunk, Dynatrace/monitoring tools, open tracing, Network security.
Strong experience in developing automation with YML, Groovy, Python, shell scripts, etc.
Experience in creating and consuming RESTful and SOAP based web services.
Proficiency in designing and building CICD for OnPrem applications.
Familiarity with software security tools.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with cross-functional roles.
