Technical Lead

Position Overview-

Emmvee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead the architecture, development, and implementation of our AI-powered travel platform. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience in building software from scratch, and the ability to act as a bridge between management and the development team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in software architecture, cloud technologies, and microservices, while also ensuring smooth collaboration between business goals and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development-Node.js, Python (FastAPI for AI/ML)

• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to deployment and maintenance.
• Oversee the design and development of scalable, cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Ensure best practices in coding, system design, and security across all technology stacks.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance when needed, including reviewing code, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.

Architecture & System Design

• Design and implement a scalable, resilient, and secure software architecture to support Emmvee Technologies Pvt. Ltd.'s AI-driven travel platform.
• Define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and AI/ML solutions into the platform.
• Continuously assess and refine system architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Project & Team Management

• Act as the primary liaison between management and the development team , ensuring clear communication of business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, AI specialists, and DevOps engineers, to ensure smooth execution of development projects.
• Lead sprint planning, task allocation, and performance monitoring of the engineering team.
• Ensure timely delivery of software features and releases by managing project timelines and priorities.

Technology & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in software development and AI/ML.
• Drive innovation by identifying new technologies that can enhance the platform's efficiency and user experience.
• Ensure the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies to streamline development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in building software from scratch – must have led a project where they designed and developed a full software system.
• Strong expertise in software architecture , including microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in backend technologies : Node.js (preferred), Python (FastAPI for AI/ML).
• Experience with frontend technologies : React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Cloud expertise : AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3) or Azure for scalable infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of databases : PostgreSQL (Relational), MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD tools : Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform.
• Experience in integrating third-party APIs , including payment gateways (Stripe, Recurly), AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker), and real-time data processing (Apache Kafka).

Management & Leadership Skills

• Experience leading development teams and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-level architectural decisions.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions and communicate technical concepts to management.
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in AI-driven applications and travel-tech platforms is a plus.
