Senior Full Stack Developer - Node js with Angular



KeyResponsibilities:


  • Develop backend and front-end solutions using Node.js/Typescript and Angular
  • Assist with estimation of work requiredto implement businessrequirements in conjunction with the Business Analyst, and where appropriate, UX functions
  • Design backend and front-end technical solutions, ensuringcompliance with agreed architecture
  • Assist with code review
  • Mentor others member of the tribe.
  • Drive compliance of your development work in accordance with the agreedtechnical QA policy, ensuring that code is checked in regularly, unit tests and code reviews are completed, and assisting with code reviews for others
  • Assist Testers to test your softwaredeliveries, triaging and addressing defectsas required
  • Assist with the transition of software to Production, including any post-implementation support
  • Troubleshoot issuesand identify solutionin backend and front-end in various environments
  • Ensure that automated devopsissues caused by your softwareare addressed
  • Assist in production supportand maintenance
  • Actively participate with your team to help drive outcomes and monitor the progress of your team and of IT in general
  • Continuously improvethe technical knowledge and development skills of yourselfand your team


Essential Key Experience:


  • 5+ years’ experience for a senior developer role that will include technicalleadership, contribution to centre of excellence, mentoring, code reviews
  • 4+ years of experience working with node.js.Desirable to have experience in typescript.
  • 3+ years of experience with Angular
  • Strong experience in buildingmicroservices and api’susing node.js
  • Deep understanding of commondesign patterns for microservice architecture.
  • Experience in domain drivendesign
  • Experience workingwith event driven solutions
  • Strong experience in workingwith event-driven architectures with at leastone of the following: SAGA, event sourcing, CQRS, Kafka streaming
  • Experience workingwith API technologies on RESTFUL.
  • Experience in designing and building databases that support microservices with technologies such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
  • Experience in a test-driven development environment for microservices.
  • Experience in using productivity tools for microservices such as swaggerhub, postman, soapUI
  • Exposure to application loggingand monitoring such as AppInsights
  • Working with gitflow processesfor code management and code reviews
  • Experience workingin a legacy transformation project
  • Exposure to automated security testing
  • Any exposure to the following will be advantageous
  • Event Streaming platform such as Apache Kakfa
  • Experience with Kong would be desirable.
  • Experience using Confluence and Jira
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
