Network Engineer/Associate

1. Review Telco Access and Circuit order by performing network design checks and site readiness to ensure provisioning of order is line with customer’s order

2. Perform and document all checks and component testing to determine completeness and accuracy of all information

3. Perform tasks and activities to ensure on-time request through to local Telco Access providers

4. Perform exception/jeopardy management tasks including documenting and escalating as required to be able to meet and deliver customer promised commitment timelines

5. Deliver on-time response and resolution updates via Phones, Emails, Tickets/tasks from various stakeholders, internal and external

6. Provide weekly order summary performance to drive Telco turnaround performance

7. Track, manage, and resolve all Third-Party Access Provider related activities, milestones, & escalations

8. Coordinate with Local Field Technicians, 3rd Party Vendors and Local Telco Access providers in performing standard testing test, install and activations of local circuits and porting of telephone numbers in systems and troubleshooting of connectivity

9. Coordinate and conduct standard testing as required based on the product type

10. Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues identified and certify services end to end

11. Support on escalated trouble tickets from Network Operations and Customer Service

12. Work with our dispatch team to support site surveys when circuit testing is involved

Skills and Qualifications

1. Good knowledge of Telecommunications and familiar with working with Telcos – Fixed Line: At the time of submitting your resume, please identify the Telco provider and the country you’ve had experience working with/or for

2. Good command over English language/good verbal and non-verbal communication skills

3. Basic knowledge of Networking Infrastructure - Hubs, Switches, Routers (mainly Layer 1 & 2 devices)

4. Very good with Task management:

5. Attention to Detail

6. Ability to follow instructions and logical tasks

7. Ability to remember and organise follow-up tasks

8. Ability to Document tasks and actions for order reviews and updates

9. Ability to coordinate with others in ensuring task completion

10. Excellent computer system proficiency skills with working & navigating across multiple applications

11. Minimum experience of working in an International Telecoms experience of 1 year
