Assistant Manager- Finance, Leading bullion trading company - Bengaluru Job Summary : A leading tech-driven bullion trading company seeking a proactive and experienced finance professional to join their Finance & Accounts Team as an Assistant Manager – Finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, sound analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills. As an Assistant Manager, the candidate will play a crucial leadership role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization and will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and drive compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Also, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior finance staff, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and financial governance. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven systems, it consistently enhances operational efficiency and customer experience Location : Koramangala, Bangalore Designation : Assistant Manager- Finance Roles & responsibilities Daily Accounting and Monthly/ Annual Book Closure : Oversee daily accounting including the recording of financial transactions, validating the invoices and payments made, and maintaining comprehensive books of accounts. Execute the monthly and Annual book closure process, ensuring proper reconciliation of all accounts and the accurate preparation of financial statements in a timely and precise manner. Statutory Compliances : Ensure unwavering adherence to statutory compliances with respect to GST, IT, PF and PT. Support the Compliance team by providing accurate records in a timely manner. Audit Support : Liaise with internal and external auditors during periodic audits, proficiently providing requisite documentation and explanations to ensure full alignment with established accounting standards and regulations. Team Leadership and Coordination : Oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance team, providing direction, support, and ensuring smooth execution of all financial operations. Internal and External Stakeholder Management: Build strong cross-functional relationships and provide financial guidance to internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of all financerelated requirements. Similarly, establish effective lines of communication with banks and vendors, promptly addressing inquiries, and fostering positive relationships to facilitate the seamless flow of financial operations. Process Improvement: Streamline financial operations through continuous process improvement initiatives and establish clear SOPs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices. Financial Reporting : Contribute to the preparation of diverse financial reports, thereby furnishing invaluable insights to inform effective decision-making. FAR Data and Cost Centre Reporting : Collate and oversee accurate data for the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), ensuring completeness and audit-readiness. Track capital expenditure (Capex) Requirement: Proficiency in MS Office, Tally Prime, and ERP-based SaaS platforms for accounting, reporting, and financial data management. Comprehensive grasp of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Exemplary attention to detail and precision. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate harmoniously within a team environment. Strong organizational aptitude, capably managing multiple tasks concurrently. Familiarity with auditing protocols and financial reporting Demonstrated experience in Managing Teams as a Team Lead or in a similar capacity Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, Qualified CA/CA-Inter/ MBA preferred Experience: 4+ years of experience Working days: Full-Time (Mon to Sat) 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Benefits: Competitive remuneration and benefits package.
