Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled UI Developer specializing in Shopify and WordPress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will focus on developing, customizing, and optimizing eCommerce websites and CMS platforms to deliver exceptional user experiences, high performance, and reliable functionality.Key Responsibilities- Develop and customize Shopify themes and WordPress websites according to client requirements.- Convert Figma designs into fully responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.- Implement dynamic and interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and seamless user experiences.- Customize and extend Shopify/WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and full responsiveness across all devices.- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers for smooth project delivery.- Integrate third-party APIs, applications, and services into Shopify and WordPress environments.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance development workflows.Required Skills & Qualifications- Frontend Development Expertise: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.- Shopify Expertise: Hands-on experience with the Liquid templating language, Shopify themes, Shopify CLI, and app integrations.- WordPress Expertise: Skilled in theme customization, plugin development, WooCommerce, Gutenberg blocks, and builders like Elementor, Divi, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).- Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.- SEO Best Practices: Basic knowledge of frontend SEO optimization.- Performance Optimization: Understanding of techniques to improve website load time and responsiveness.- CMS Knowledge: Experience with Headless CMS solutions.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-driven environment.Preferred Qualifications- 6+ years of experience working with Shopify Plus and Wordpress theme building.- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
