Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Transaction Monitoring Manager to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML/CFT and will be responsible for leading the compliance transaction monitoring team, ensuring the timely review and escalation of suspicious activities, and enhancing our transaction surveillance and intelligence framework. A solid understanding of stablecoin transactions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the compliance transaction monitoring (TM) team, ensuring effective performance and development.

  • Ensure timely review of alerts from Group-approved AML transaction monitoring system(s), escalations on suspicious AML/CFT activities from business/support units, and cases arising from other relevant sources (e.g., adverse news in media).

  • Prepare suspicious activity/transaction reports for the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) review and approval.

  • Work closely with the risk transaction monitoring team to align strategies and ensure comprehensive monitoring.

  • Provide analysis and insights on emerging AML/CFT risk issues from the review of suspicious activity/transaction reports.

  • Offer relevant advisories to business/support units and other AML/CFT teams on matters arising from reviews and investigations conducted by the unit.

  • Analyse suspicious activity/transaction reports to identify AML/CFT risk trends and support appropriate actions to strengthen AML/CFT controls in the Group.

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of reviews and investigation cases in accordance with Group standards.

  • Provide inputs and support to strengthen the transaction surveillance and intelligence operating framework and procedures across the Group.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in AML/CFT, compliance, or related fields, with at least 3 years in intelligence/investigation-related work.

  • Proven experience in leading a compliance transaction monitoring team.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of payment and cross-border laws and regulations, compliance best practices, and payment products and systems.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of stablecoin transactions is a high plus.
