Backed by leading Tier 1 VCs, we’re on a mission to make infrastructure future-ready and accessible to all.Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Tekla Structures Modeler / Steel Detailer to translate engineering designs into accurate 3 D models and high-quality fabrication/shop drawings. You’ll be central to transforming concepts into constructible steel/PEB structures—optimizing for precision, constructability, and efficiency.This isn’t just a drafting role—it’s about being the technical bridge between engineering design, fabrication, and execution.What You’ll Do3 D Modeling & DetailingDevelop and manage detailed 3 D structural steel models in Tekla Structures.Generate fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings with accuracy.Apply correct connection detailing as per design inputs and global codes.Data & DocumentationPrepare BOQs, material lists, bolt lists, and CNC/NC data for fabrication.Ensure clash detection, model coordination, and drawing validation.Maintain strict drawing/document control aligned with project QA/QC requirements.Coordination & Problem-SolvingCollaborate with design engineers, architects, fabricators, and site teams.Resolve ambiguities through RFIs, revisions, and design modifications.Ensure constructability, compliance, and timely delivery of drawings.What We’re Looking ForEducation & Background:Diploma/Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Tekla Structures for steel projects (PEB, modular, or heavy structures preferred).Strong knowledge of steel fabrication & erection processes.Familiarity with international detailing codes (IS, AISC, Eurocodes).Knowledge of Auto CAD / Revit / STAAD is an added plus.Mindset & Traits (Non-Negotiable):Detail-Oriented Precision – You care about accuracy down to the last bolt.Problem Solver – You thrive on resolving clashes and design challenges.Collaborator – You work seamlessly across teams and disciplines.Organized & Proactive – You manage revisions and data without letting details slip.Quality-Driven – You ensure every drawing and model meets project and client standards.Why Join UsContribute to projects shaping the future of modular infrastructure.Work on global-standard steel detailing projects for healthcare, education, defense & more.Be part of a fast-growing VC-backed construction tech startup.Direct career growth opportunities into senior detailing, BIM, or project engineering roles.Help deliver projects that impact communities nationwide—from hospitals to schools to industrial facilities.Role: Tekla Structures Modeler / Steel DetailerLocation: IIT Madras Research Park, ChennaiExperience: 2-7 YearsCommitment: Full-time, Detail-Driven Role, High Ownership RoleCTC: 5-8 LPA
