Job description:
Experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong foundation in SQL and a deep understanding of banking regulatory requirements. Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems for ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Skills: (Mandatory)
Data Analysis/Business Data Analyst/Technical Business Analyst
Data Engineering (Data Governance(Collibra), Data Profiling, Data Modelling, Data Visualization)
Data Warehouse
Expertise in SQL (Basic to advance; Lag-Lead functions)
ETL (Informatica Power Center)
Banking Domain Experience
Banking Regulatory Compliance like Basel, BCBS, PSD2, etc.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
Roles and Responsibilities required:
Led the design and implementation of data pipelines for aggregating and processing sensitive banking data.
Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, improving data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and compliance officers to ensure data quality and integrity in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
Implement data governance practices, including data lineage tracking and metadata management, contributing to improved transparency and auditability.
Must be able to solve "Business Problems" related to the banking customers (In terms of non-technical scenario).
Play a pivotal role in migrating on-premises data infrastructure.
Collaborate with compliance teams to implement robust data validation processes.
Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, facilitating faster insights and decision-making for business stakeholders.
Automate data quality checks and monitoring processes, improving data reliability, and proactively identifying issues before they impact business operations.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data solutions meet the needs of various departments.
Certifications: (Not Mandatory)

Technical Proficiencies:
Languages: SQL (Expertise)
Databases: (Any database Systems)
Additional Information:
Strong understanding of banking regulations, including Specific Regulations or Standards, enabling seamless integration of compliance requirements into data engineering solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrated through successful resolution of complex data integration challenges and adherence to data quality standards.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
