As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our applications are production-ready,

smoothly deployed, and reliably maintained. You'll collaborate with developers and QA to automate

environments, streamline deployments, and monitor system health across multiple stages. This role is

perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to grow through hands-on

experience and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD
  • Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS) and troubleshoot deployment issues
  • Provision and optimize production environments in AWS using performance benchmarks
  • Finalize infrastructure components including security groups, autoscaling, and high availability
  • Monitor systems using Grafana and validate observability (logging, tracing, alerting)
  • Coordinate releases, validate rollback plans, and support change request processes
  • Deploy Java microservices, Angular applications, and MySQL databases on AWS RDS
  • Participate in daily scrums and assist the Development Director during launch phases
  • Ensure backup, recovery, and restore procedures are tested and documented

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • AWS
  • EKS / Kubernetes
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Argo CD)
  • Grafana
  • MySQL
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and agile development practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-driven learner with a passion for exploring new technologies and improving processes
  • Ability to adapt quickly and take ownership of tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Are available during EST hours (with overlap until noon or 1 PM EST).
  • Have strong English communication skills for collaboration.
