Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team as Overseas Education Counsellors . As a Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing personalized guidance and support to students throughout their journey of applying to universities abroad. You will play a pivotal role in assisting students in choosing suitable academic programs, preparing application materials, and navigating the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Consultation: Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to understand their educational background, career aspirations, and preferences for studying abroad.
University Research: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in international education, including admission requirements, scholarships, and visa regulations.
Application Assistance: Guide students in preparing application materials, including resumes, personal statements, recommendation letters, and essays, ensuring adherence to university guidelines and standards.

Admissions Support: Assist students in identifying suitable universities and programs based on their academic profile, interests, and career goals. Provide insights into various study destinations, including academic culture, lifestyle, and employment prospects.
Interview Preparation: Conduct mock interviews and provide coaching to help students prepare for university interviews, scholarship interviews, and visa interviews.
Visa Guidance: Offer support and guidance to students in obtaining student visas, including assistance with documentation, visa applications, and interview preparation.
Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner universities, admissions officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
Events and Workshops: Organize and participate in education fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote study abroad opportunities and enhance brand visibility.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application progress, and outcomes. Generate reports on key metrics, such as conversion rates, student demographics, and market trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Relations, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in education counselling, preferably in an overseas education consultancy or academic advising role.
In-depth knowledge of international education systems, university admissions processes, and visa regulations for popular study destinations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Familiarity with CRM software, student management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
