Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser you will play a pivotal role in our operations, focusing on ensuring top-notch quality, managing costs effectively, and maintaining seamless coordination with our network of factories.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with senior merchandiser to coordinate production activities and ensure timely delivery of orders.- Conduct regular factory visits to oversee production processes, ensure quality standards are met, and address any production issues that may arise.- Collaborate with the design team to understand fabric requirements and ensure the availability of printed fabrics as per the design specifications.- Assist in the costing process, ensuring that cost-effective strategies are implemented without compromising on quality.- Keep abreast of industry trends and market demands to contribute innovative ideas for product development and enhancement.- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, quality control reports, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.- Previous experience in a merchandising role within the fashion industry, preferably with exposure to export operations.- Strong knowledge of printed fabrics and their manufacturing processes.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality control and cost management.- Willingness to travel to factories and production sites as required.
