Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant– Engineering Delivery Leader

We are looking for a talented Engineering leader with strong technical and management background to join the team, and subsequently build a vision and execute on the roadmap building developer experiences at enterprise scale. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of (60+) core engineers to deliver compelling developer experiences and drive engineering excellence by adopting agile & engineering best practices. This role will give you the opportunity to influence a large group of product owners, software engineers, Leadership, and data scientists globally.

Responsibilities

The role requires you to be able to manage the overall Product / software development life cycle which includes the following responsibilities, The role involves innovating, developing and delivering complex systems impacting our critical business objectives. Create career paths for our team members by strong mentoring and regular feedback/evaluation process. Set up best practices and identify areas for continuous improvement of the product development life cycle.

·Strong grasp of scalable web back end, streaming, full stack development, good experience in handling production and performance issues of platforms technologies

·Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up

·Deep understanding & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex web/desktop-based systems

·Experience hiring and growing a top-notch engineering team and scaling the organization. Start-up experience will be highly preferred.

·Solid understanding of business processes and the application of technology to implement and thereafter streamline them.

·Hands-on experience in Developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically.

·Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute deliverables, project plans, and commitments.

·Propose and implement new recommended system improvements.

·Bring innovative ideas to the table every day, in order find better ways of accomplishing our customer objectives.

·Set clear, measurable quality goals for engineers.

·Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.

·Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.

·Foster culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.

·Hire, coach, and mentor individuals; build a strong cross-functional organization.

·Partner with a diverse stakeholder to understand requirements, priorities, and processes.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

·years of overall Engineering leader & of engineering team management experience.

·Strong leadership and communication skills

·Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full Product/Software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification.

·Experience partnering with Leadership, product, or program management teams.

·Experience in communicating with cross functional teams, other technical teams, and stakeholders to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy etc.

·years of Experience in Agile, Jira, Devops, QA & Project /Program Management

·Experience in building solutions for enterprise developer experiences and test automation platforms (selenium based)

·Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.

·Experience building cloud native solutions on AWS and experience developing micro services using spring boot.
