Job Title: AI/Gen-AI Pre-Sales Architect

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 18+ years

Domain: BFSI (Capital Markets, Financial Services, Insurance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with BFSI clients to understand strategic goals and identify AI/Gen-AI solution opportunities aligned to business value.
  • Own and drive end-to-end solutioning and technical leadership for AI/Gen-AI proposals in collaboration with sales, delivery, and CoE teams.
  • Design contextual and scalable architectures leveraging Gen-AI, ML/AI Ops, RAG pipelines, proprietary/OSS LLMs, data ecosystems, and cloud platforms.
  • Create domain-specific Gen-AI value propositions and PoCs tailored for BFSI (e.g., AI agents for Underwriting, Claims, KYC, Fraud, Trade Surveillance).
  • Translate customer needs into detailed solution blueprints, including model selection, data strategy, and deployment architecture.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover of proposed solutions for delivery with necessary documentation and risk identification.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, executive briefings, and industry events to evangelize AI/Gen-AI offerings.
  • Lead or support GTM initiatives including crafting of pitch decks, solution demos, estimations, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in LLMs, Foundation Models, Gen-AI Safety, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Agentic workflows, etc.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML solutioning with at least 2 years in Gen-AI-based architecture or delivery leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of BFSI business processes and domain knowledge in one or more areas: Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance.
  • Expertise in designing solutions using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Cohere, Anthropic, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, RAG architecture, LangChain/LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and other deep learning frameworks
  • Ability to articulate ROI, solution benefits, and risk mitigation strategies in CXO-level conversations.
  • Experience in pre-sales lifecycle including proposal creation, client workshops, and PoC development.
  • Cloud-native solutioning skills with exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP-based AI services.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Gen-AI into legacy BFSI applications or workflows (e.g., BPM, Case Mgmt, Document Understanding).
  • Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps platforms like MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases, HuggingFace Hub, or Databricks.
  • Exposure to compliance-aware AI solutioningResponsible AI, model interpretability, bias mitigation, and data privacy.
  • Certification in AI/ML or Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty).
  • Prior experience working with niche AI startups, consulting firms, or Gen-AI CoEs.
