This person will play critical role in offering technical guidance, leadership, and expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects or products across Mashreq’s multi-country initiatives for UAE, Egypt & Pakistan. This role demands a profound grasp of technology, adept programming skills, robust problem-solving acumen, outstanding leadership qualities, and the ability to communicate, collaborate effectively with all pertinent stakeholders.Take the lead in managing multiple application deliveries concurrently to fulfill multiple COE’s demand.Determine project requirements, define technical road map, conduct solution workshops, and develop work schedules for the engineering teams to deliver in parallel tracks.Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and ensure the attainment of daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.Identify critical risk areas within the deliveries, establish mitigation plans, and ensure the seamless execution of the delivery process.Ensure you stay updated on project status, arrange training sessions, and provide guidance to teams regarding areas for improvement and addressing any obstacles.Inspire and encourage your team, fostering an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their concerns openly.Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.Conduct performance evaluations and set individual and team goals and provideregular feedback to team members.Key Result Areas: -- Technical Leadership:-

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.-

Lead technical discussions and design decisions, including application and security architecture, suitable technology selection, microservice design and code reviews.-

Ensure team delivery adhere to best practices, coding standards and adherence tointernal governance.-

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Delivery Planning and Execution:-

Collaborate with project managers to define technical requirements, timelines, and effort allocation.-

Break down complex technical tasks into manageable sub-tasks and create execution plans.-

Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of technical milestones.-

Identify and mitigate technical risks with alternative solutions in advance.Technical Design and Architecture:-

Work closely with solution & enterprise architects to define the system architecture and technical design and prepare necessary artefacts.-

Ensure scalability, security, and performance considerations are addressed in thedesign.-

Make decisions on technology stack and tools based on project requirements. Application Development and Coding:-

Design high-quality Application Programming Interfaces and assist the team insolving complex technical challenges.-

Lead by example in terms of coding standards, best practices, and documentation.-

Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure code delivery with lowdefect density.SRE Practices:-

Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities to proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact customers.-

Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents and outages, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term prevention.-

Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure our systems can manage current and future traffic.-

Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.-

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security, compliance, and disaster recovery capabilities.Team Collaboration:-

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the technical team.-

Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical colleagues.-

Facilitate knowledge sharing and functional cross-training among team members.Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships-

Maintain relationships between team members, supervisors and subordinates, cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.-

Adhering to established frameworks is essential for maintaining consistency and quality at work environment which helps work efficiently.-

Consistency in following the set guidelines leads to a more harmonious work environment.-

Follow efficiency and accountability go hand in hand of the frameworks in place.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: -At least 13 years of diverse experience in Software Development, Application Transformation, and managing multiple development teams in a high-performance delivery environment.-

Proficiency in Application Design, Business Process Modelling, Java 11 programming, JMS, Kafka, data structures, data caching and application monitoring.-

Experience with Cloud Native Development, knowledge of Kubernetes Containers, Docker Images and Cloud Deployments practices.-

Proficiency in languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, R, or equivalent.-

Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn or others.-

Understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms, including linear regression, decision trees, support vector machines, and clustering algorithms.-

Expert knowledge in design, develop, and deploy microservices using SpringBoot.-

Understanding of BPM concepts and methodologies, including process modeling, process automation, and optimization.-

Skills in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, knowledgeable with API documentation using Swagger or others.-

Experience with relational database design, query optimization, and data modeling.-

Understanding of security best practices in application development, Identity and access management, multi form factor authentication and data encryption.-

Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, application security.-

Experience with SRE Tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or others.-

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.-

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices for sprint management and effective team collaboration.-

Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development
