We are seeking QA automation Lead with 8+ years of experience into automation testing and someone who has good exposure with banking / financial services industry


Responsibilities:


  • This role will lead a QA automation team in charge of the test automation suite for back-end API/Kafka services integrating with the existing Clearing platform.
  • As a QA Automation lead, you will be the bridge between the bank stakeholders and the rest of the automation team. You will be acting as the single point of contact for that team, managing requirements and coordinating the worker of the automation team.
  • You will also act as the automation SME for the team ensuring the best possible outcome for the underlying projects.


Mandatory Skills Description:

  • Have experience managing a QA automation team
  • Have experience in banking / financial services industry
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Have at least 8-12 years of automation experience

in Selenium Framework, and API testing tools like Rest Assure and Postman

  • Experience testing Java applications, micro services (eg. Java Spring Boot / Node Js), data streaming (Kafka) capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF Spring Boot & Spring MVC
  • Experience in testing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Sound level understanding of object oriented programming.
  • In-depth testing and automation experience in a structured environment.
  • Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, & parallel testing.
  • Experience with common CICD tools - working with as well as setting up pipelines.
  • Experience in test environment and test data setup.
  • Worked as part of medium to large sized project teams.
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and confluence.
  • Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
  • Experienced in BDD and implementation of Cucumber based automation frameworks.
