James Cook University (JCU) is seeking a passionate and experienced casual Clinical Educator, Psychology to join the Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health (MCRRH). In this casual, remote role, you’ll contribute to the Psychology and Allied Health Supervisor Training Program (STP) - a nationally recognised, interprofessional training program approved by the Psychology Board of Australia. In this role: you will deliver innovative training to strengthen the rural and remote workforce grade training assessment submissions using a competency-based model that is growth based  be a part of a team that is collaborative, inclusive culture focused on innovation and community impact  you can work remotely from anywhere in Australia This is a casual position paid at  ACAD B $109,791 - $129,547 + 17% Super & excellent benefits. About the Role As Clinical Educator, Psychology (Casual) you will join a pool of casual academics who will support the STP team to deliver virtual workshops, assess training outcomes, and help build supervision capacity for psychologists and allied health professionals across Australia.  What we offer: Flexibility with remote work  The chance to deliver training that shapes the future of rural and remote health  An opportunity to contribute to national policy and workforce development What you’ll bring: General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia At least 5 years' experience as a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor (this is a Board requirement to become a trainer) Confidence in delivering training and assessments remotely Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills A commitment to equity, diversity, reconciliation, and the needs of rural and remote communities  Desirable Experience in health professional education or rural generalist practice  Interdisciplinary collaboration experience Understanding of the challenges facing provisional psychologists in rural and remote areas Why JCU?
