The candidate should have 710 years of experience specifically inthe design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power DistributionProjects
The key responsibilities include timelydelivery of engineering drawings & documents ensuring alignmentwith project schedule and reviewing drawings by design engineers& draughts persons
The job requires checking ofdesign & sizing calculations of engineering electricalequipment and obtaining approvals from the client
Thecandidate should be capable of multitasking and delivering multiplethings on time
The candidate will be responsible forestimating and planning manhour requirements reviewing BOQ andsubmitting it to the contracts team and providing technicalclarifications
The job involves coordinating withmultiple disciplines for ensuring interdepartmental checks andproviding support & clarifications to the Site Executionteam
The candidate will be required to inspect equipmentfrom the finalized vendor after submission of validation documentand clarify issues related to the design & requirements of theclient to the Site Execution Team
The job involvescollecting inputs for project details from the client & ProjectEngineering Manager coordinating with Operations team and informingDesign specifications for obtaining approval
Thecandidate will be required to check deliverables such as CableRouting Layout Cable Tray Layout Earthing Layout & LightningProtection Layout
The candidate should provide supportto Electrical AC Civil/Structural for reviewing Vendor drawings andsubmit requirement of manhours for undertaking & reviewingdesign & drawings of the project
The candidateshould possess an overall knowledge of equipment layouts andnecessary calculations and have detailed knowledge of Solar PVPower Plants
The candidate should understand engineeringactivities covering Generation Estimate Overall plant Layout DC SLDSolar Module selection Inverter Sizing SMB Earthing Layouts CableSizing Calculations of Solar PV Power Plants
Thecandidate should have knowledge on National and International Codesand Standards understand and interpret the contractual technicalrequirements and facilitate the Project Teams as and whenrequired
The candidate should also have an overallunderstanding of the interdisciplinary (Civil & StructuralMechanical and Instrumentation) design aspects of electricalequipment.
