Role Highlights:
Position : DGM/GM reporting to Site Head
Location : Lalru, Punjab
Team : Lead and mentor a team of Production Managers and Executives and Operators
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Leadership :
Responsible for Planning, Execution of commercial and developmental Products to ensure Quality and OTF (One time in Full) by:
Timely availability of resources and infrastructure for production activities.
On time Facility readiness of Equipment and Resources in optimal operational conditions.
Adherence to cGMP, GDP to ensure all Regulatory Compliances.
Enable Continuous improvement through enhanced Capability and skill development strategies.
Optimize processes through Operational Excellence for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare, Manage and Monitor production budgets to ensure on time quality delivery.
People Leadership :
Establish workflow systems to ensure employees are performing more than their potential while following industry standard health and safety guidelines.
Encourage accountability and ownership among team members by setting clear goals and regular feedback that enhance speed and efficiency.
Develop SMEs internally and proactively build talent base for current and future requirements.
Compliance and Quality:
Ensure and guide team for audit preparation, Readiness, facing audits and compliance
Responsible to provide production related response for requirements in product
dossier submission and due for the regulatory queries received.
Ensure all time readiness for audit preparedness by internal and external regulatory.
To ensure all employees follow GDP, cGMP and Principle of ALCOA++/Data Integrity including concurrent document.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with QA, QC, R&D,SCM, Engineering, and other teams to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations. Work as Project Leader for special projects to Collaboration with cross functional teams comprising of Quality Control, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance, Engineering and RA.
What Makes You a Fit:
Experience : 10-15 years in vaccine production and operations
Education : M.Sc in Biotechnology or a related field
Skills : Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities, with deep knowledge of both national and international audit standards (e.g., WHO Geneva, DCGI, ISO)
Behavioural Competencies : Strong Inter personal Skills, Business Acumen and solve problem with analytical mind-set.
