About the Role:
As a Credit Manager at FinLender, you will lead and oversee the credit analysis and risk assessment processes for our lending activities. Your role will involve managing a team of credit analysts, ensuring comprehensive and accurate credit evaluations, and making key lending decisions that align with the company's risk appetite and financial objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Oversee daily operations and workflow within the credit department.
- Review and approve detailed credit analyses and risk assessments conducted by credit analysts. Evaluate complex financial data and loan applications to determine creditworthiness.
- Formulate and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance profitability.
- Make informed lending decisions and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and present comprehensive credit proposals for approval by the credit committee.
- Liaise with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate lending operations.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, investors, and business partners.
- Ensure all credit activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit management.
- Analyze financial reports and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on credit performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Credit Underwriting, or related field (CA/CFA/FRM qualifications preferred).
- 1-3 years of work experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and credit management, preferably with BANK, ARC, AIF, NBFC, or financial institutions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and financial analysis software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
