Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using PHP and related technologies. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for writing optimized, secure, and well-documented code, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward. You will also stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices, contributing to continuous improvements in the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance PHP-based web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that follows industry best practices.
- Debug and resolve complex software issues, optimizing for performance and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to create and implement new features.
- Develop and maintain robust databases, optimize SQL queries, and manage data storage.
- Ensure the application’s security, performance, and scalability, and implement best practices in data protection.
- Stay updated on PHP and web development trends to keep our applications cutting-edge.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including deployment and API documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer, with advanced proficiency in PHP and experience in frameworks like Laravel or WordPress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong front-end knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, for seamless integration with back-end systems.
- Extensive experience with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ability to write optimized SQL queries.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to write secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience leading or mentoring other developers.
