Organization Overview: Performance Marketing India team works closely with the marketing team in the US to support a wide range of marketing activities, including campaign operations, creative services, project tracking, compliance, and vendor management. The team is involved in every step of the process, from customer acquisition to providing marketing offers and regular updates to keep customers engaged with Synchrony. Role Summary/Purpose: Reporting to AVP, Strategic Statement Solutions, the Senior Testing Analyst is a member of a Marketing Agile pod delivering requests for new builds and updates to the elements within billing statements. This role is a key participant in project teams and Agile pods that develop & deliver solutions for billing statements; including projects impacting billing statements; including inserts, overlays, messaging, required verbiage display, and marketing offers, ensuring required system configuration changes are tested and validated, both for pre- and post-production. You will be responsible for analyzing and executing test scripts along with documenting the results and confirming they meet expectations. You will partner with the core Statement teams to enhance and improve test scripts through continuous improvement. This position is currently remote and can require working at a Synchrony or supplier site for team meetings, planning sessions, and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: Analyze and execute specific test scripts based on request/project type from the statement teams. Analyze test results on mainframe screen (Green screen), errors or bugs. Measure control effectiveness using predetermined scripts to determine overall process quality. Implement billing statement requests related to overlays and messages; including test validation and implementation for pre and post production Assist requesters with projects impacting billing statements; including inserts, overlays, CITs, messaging, required verbiage display, and marketing offers Strong adherence to SLA's on timelines, accuracy & Compliance. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate results to various levels of the organization. Identify, own and drive issues to resolution. Exposure to QA activities is must. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED and experience in Marketing, Operations, Financial Services, or project management Experience in design, testing & validation of requirements Good understanding of MS office tools (Excel, Word & Power point). Outstanding communication, relationship building, influencing, and collaboration skills Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of marketing process Knowledge of financial services systems; Fiserv, First Data, Content Navigator, Consumer Center Desire to learn, grow, and become subject matter expert Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics, and address implementation obstacles Project management experience Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business High energy, enthusiastic and self-motivated Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree with 0 to 2 years of overall experience, or in lieu of Bachelor’s degree 2 to 4 years of overall experience. Work Timings : This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
