CSL has large-scale multinational projects in Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh and has set up field teams at the Block level to be supported through competent personnel at District and State levels. It also undertakes consultancy projects. CSL is looking for committed and competent functionary for the following position.

Position: State Lead – Madhya PradeshLocation : Jabalpur, Madhya PradeshOrganization : Cognisphere Solutions Limited

Experience Required : 10 years of experience, including 5-6 years of direct grassroots work, with expertise in community mobilization, livelihood promotion (agriculture, plantation, forestry), FPO management, and leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams of professionals.

Education Required : Minimum of 16 years of education (Master’s degree or 4-year technical degree), preferably in Environment, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.

Job Description:Cognisphere Solutions Limited is seeking a State Lead to oversee large-scale Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) projects across multiple districts in Madhya Pradesh. These transformative initiatives focus on enhancing carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and community livelihoods, while adhering to international standards and advancing key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Gender Equality, Climate Action, Life on Land, and Sustainable Communities.

The State Lead will be responsible for scaling up ARR projects in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring effective end-to-end implementation. The role involves developing strategic plans, engaging with stakeholders, and leading, mentoring, and guiding multiple teams to achieve environmental and social objectives. This position offers an opportunity to drive impactful and sustainable change at scale.

Key Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and monitor the Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) project, ensuring alignment with international certification standards.Conduct feasibility assessments and scale the project across designated regions in Madhya Pradesh.Develop and implement strategic plans with robust monitoring systems to track progress and maintain high-quality standards.Leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies, document progress, and disseminate best practices through detailed reporting.Build strong relationships with local communities to ensure their active participation and transparency with them in the project activities.Facilitate the establishment and growth of women-led Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and promote women’s leadership in livelihood and community initiatives.Manage financial and human resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient achievement of project goals.Conduct training and capacity-building programs for project teams, community members, and FPOs to strengthen technical and operational capabilities.Maintain ongoing communication with government agencies, CSOs, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to build and sustain collaborative partnerships.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, procurement policies, and financial standards.Identify potential risks to project success and develop actionable strategies for effective mitigation.
