Job Title: Senior Software EngineerPrimary Skill: Smart COMM DeveloperLocation: Hyderabad / Pune / CoimbatoreDomain: P&C InsuranceExperience: 4 to 6 YearsAbout the job:We are seeking a skilled Smart COMM Developer to design, develop, and implement customer communication and form solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the best minds serving insurance customers in the US, UK, and Canadian markets.Responsibilities:- Participate in requirement calls to gather functional and technical requirements.- Provide effort estimates and development plans for assigned tasks.- Design and implement Smart COMM templates, data models, and communication artefacts.- Perform code/configuration changes and implement communication customizations.- Execute unit testing and Pre-Prod (Sandbox) validations; support QA testing cycles.- Triage and resolve defects raised by QA for Personal Lines forms and General Claims.- Integrate Smart COMM outputs with Guidewire Policy/Billing and other backend systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications.- Prepare technical documentation and handover notes for deployments.Requirements:- 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a Smart COMM Developer.- Practical experience with Guidewire Policy (config/integration) and Guidewire Billing.- Strong understanding of the Smart COMM communication lifecycle: template design → data model changes → testing → deployment.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good To Have:Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed.
