Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/ Asst. Manager, Accounts Payable


In this role, we are looking for an accounting graduate with prior accounts payable experience. In this role, you will be encouraged to work on deadlines, in a fairly high pressure business environment while being a standout colleague.


Responsibilities:


•Partner with client to drive to ensure smooth operations – closely work with country process owners

•Responsible for sub process/team performance metrics - Reporting and tracking of SLA’s

•Ensure adherence to Monthly calendar (processing cut-offs and payments)

•Volume/Queue management along with level loading and work allocation

•Maintain operating, communication, governance rhythm with key process owners. Liaise with onshore team to resolve outstanding issues, highlighting any risks in the process

•Ensure quality adherence (invoice processing, quality of queries, accuracy of payments, helpdesk management etc.) Drive refresher sessions based on audit results and customer feedback

•Support team with query resolution on matters of process, system and act as the first line of support to the team

•Ability to identify operational issues on day-day basis and highlight to leadership

•Ensure adherence of ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ and its periodic review.

•Proactively Identify process pain points and improvement opportunities and collaborate with the quality team and PTP Tower Lead to drive change

•Ensure strong focus on people management and adherence to HR practices.

•Drive cross training on an ongoing basis


Key Skills:

•Exposure to multiple sub process (Invoice Processing, Payments, Vendor Master etc.).

•Effective communication skills/good interpersonal skills required for the role

•Exposure to ERP (SAP / Oracle etc.)

•Knowledge on PTP Risks & Controls

•Experience of working on a process transition

•SME on P2P process
