Ecommerce Specialist (D2C) responsibilities:

  1. Strong control over Shopify, responsible for the development of the Shopify platform, themes and corresponding apps.
  2. Develop and implement the D2C strategy to drive online sales and brand growth through direct customer engagement.
  3. Manage the end-to-end D2C operations, including website management, product assortment, and pricing, promotions, and customer experience.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of D2C initiatives.
  5. Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the D2C channel.
  6. Implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships, to drive traffic and conversion on the D2C platform.
  7. Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value to maximize revenue and profitability.
  8. Develop and execute A/B testing and optimization strategies to improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  9. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology providers to enhance the D2C ecosystem and capabilities.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in D2C to drive strategic decision-making and competitive advantage.
  11. Provide guidance to the team, fostering a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
  12. Design UX based on brand’s standard and style guide.
  13. Developing testing plans and troubleshooting issues related to website.
  14. Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimise the shop for overall efficiency and functionality


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in D2C or e-commerce management roles, with a focus on driving direct-to-consumer sales and brand growth.
  3. Strong understanding of D2C business models, online retail platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking to drive data-driven decision-making.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  6. Knowledge of SEO best practices, digital advertising, and customer acquisition strategies in the D2C space.
  7. Experience in managing D2C P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
  8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive innovation and change in the D2C channel.
  9. Passion for consumer brands, customer experience, and leveraging digital channels to drive business growth.
