Job Description:

Sr. Tech Specialist - .NET Core

Experience Level: 10-15 years


Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Tech Specialist with a passion for .NET development to join our team. You will play a critical role in leading technical initiatives, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex software projects.


Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development.

  • Full lifecycle project/product development experience
  • Proven ability to create reports using tools like Crystal Reports, Dev Express, Power BI, or equivalents
  • Strong desire to learn and experiment with new technologies
  • Passion for exploring proof-of-concepts and identifying technical solutions for architectural decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to debug complex codebases involving device and API integrations
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude


Good to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to HL7 and Smart FHIR
  • Understanding of security and compliance standards and best practices


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology proof-of-concepts and guide trade-off discussions to determine the best fit for project requirements.
  • Drive "Spikes" within Agile Scrum teams, ensuring timely execution with team collaboration.
  • Partner with architects to refine technical concepts and support architectural decision-making.
  • Develop in-app reports using Crystal Reports, Dev Express, Power BI, or equivalents.
  • Debug large codebases involving multiple integration points during SIT/UAT testing.
  • Serve as a technical go-to person for the team.


Optional Skills:

  • Exposure to the healthcare domain (EMR/HIS)


Evaluation Criteria:

  • Expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and IIS
  • Strong desire for learning and adopting new technologies
  • Experience with HL7/FHIR or similar protocol-level device integration
  • Expertise in integrating with third-party SaaS platforms and API-level integration
  • Proficiency in report creation tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm, positive attitude, and willingness to travel onsite (duration negotiable)
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
