Job Purpose

The Resource – SAP Basis Admin is responsible to provide technical support for various SAP landscapes across multiple products. The incumbent will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments and fix simple applications solutions / bugs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Should be able to support the SAP Basis Projects and guide the junior resources.
  • Should be able to understand the business requirements and complete on-time & in-full.
  • A techno-functional expert with excellent product know-how of the SAP S4 HANA, GRC, NetWeaver, Fiori, Solution Manager, 
  • Assist support team, mentor and help all the SAP Functional & technical teams with new integration & Bolt on for New projects, Change requests & support Middleware data exchange thru application / database connections
  • Should be able to work on Suse cluster & High Availability (HA) / Disaster recovery (DR) replication.
  • Should be able to do system copy on Hana & Sybase DB, Max DB
  • Should have knowledge on 
  • Data Archiving,
  • SAP Security roles & authorization (GRC), UI Masking
  • Charm & Fiori
  • Should be able to understand the middleware integration via API.
  • Coordinate with the infrastructure team for hardware augmentation & DB restore etc.
  • Should have good knowledge of the Automotive industry and domestic clients.
  • Ensure adherence to ITGC policies and SoPs in the Basis area.
  • Train and Participate in Unit and Integration Testing with the users and ensure all Development objects are tested during these testing cycles.
  • Preferably SAP certified and exposure in S4 HANA 1709 
  • Knowledge and exposure other SAP modules will be an added advantage
  • Should have a keen eye for automating the routine activities in Basis & GRC

Work Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent

 

Experience

  • 7-10 years in SAP BASIS
  • The experience includes at least 2-3 implementations and Support.
  • 3-4 years Experience in SAP S/4hana, Sybase DB & linux is mandatory
  • SAP Basis experience including customer facing implementations, roll outs.
  • Should have three or more, end to end Process Implementation cycles experience working with established corporates/Industry/consulting firms
  • Professionally qualified with SAP support / implementation experience at 2-3 installations / working with established corporates/Industry/consulting firms.
  • Should have strong knowledge on the following technical areas
  • Preferred Experience in Manufacturing/ Automotive industry
