Job Title:
Contract–Simulation Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Simulation Engineer
to independently handle and execute
CAE activities
. The role focuses on
component-level simulation for safety systems (particularly steering wheels)
using tools such as
HyperMesh, Abaqus, and LS-Dyna (optional)
.

Experience
1–3 years of relevant CAE experience.

Automotive domain experience is an added advantage.

Strategic Context & Challenges

  • Execute meshing and simulation projects with minimal guidance while taking full ownership.
  • Ensure first-time quality and on-time delivery of tasks and projects.
  • Learn and adopt new tools, processes, and methods for diverse tasks.
  • Provide simulation support and drive collaboration between Technical Centers (TCs) for steering wheel simulation activities.
  • Perform conclusive analysis of test and simulation results to recommend improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with quality and efficiency.
  • Support different ALV sites by working in various shifts as needed.

Key Deliverables

  • Handle and execute CAE activities for different ALV TCs.
  • Provide design improvement solutions through CAE approaches.
  • Support and maintain robust processes/methods to achieve first-time quality and on-time deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

  • Independently execute CAE activities.
  • Conduct conclusive analysis of test and simulation results to identify improvements.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of tasks and projects.
  • Learn and create new methods to execute multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Support and collaborate with team members on shared deliverables.
  • Comply with safety standards and ALV standards.
  • Continuously improve existing processes through day-to-day support.

Required Experience & Skills
Experience:
1–3 years in CAE simulation.

  • Strong fundamentals, analytical ability, and engineering basics.
  • Proficiency in pre-processors such as HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, ESI Tools, and Primer.
  • Basic experience in Abaqus/LS-Dyna (Implicit & Explicit analysis).
  • Good communication skills and team-player attitude.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to changing business scenarios and shift work.

Added Advantages

  • Knowledge of Ansa, Visual Crash.
  • Experience with steering wheel simulation activities and products.
  • Programming skills for pre-/post-processing.
  • Additional qualifications/certifications in CAE software.

Education
B.E.
in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.

Certifications/Accreditations
Trainings and certifications related to CAE software are preferred.

Languages
English (mandatory), Kannada, and Hindi.

Other Requirements
Adaptability to changing business scenarios.

Willingness to work in shifts.
