Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java, Spring, Microservices, and Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Software Requirements

Proficiency in Java programming language. Expertise in Spring Framework and building Microservices. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Understanding of RESTful API development standards and best practices. Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

Overall Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software solutions based on system design specifications. Lead the architecture and coding of high-performance, enterprise-grade applications. Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Drive continuous improvement and agile best practices within the development team.

Category wise Technical Skills

Core Development : Proficient in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. Microservices Architecture : Experience in designing and developing Microservices, understanding of Domain Driven Design. Cloud Computing : Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including their respective services and management tools. Database Management : Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and ORM tools. Security : Understanding of OAuth, JWT, SSL, data encryption, and other security protocols. Testing : Experience in TDD/BDD, unit testing, integration testing, and use of testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience. Proven track record of successful project delivery for enterprise applications. Extensive experience in Java, Spring, and Microservices development. Practical experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure).

Day-to-Day Activities

Collaborate with the product team to define software requirements. Develop and maintain scalable and robust Java applications. Implement Microservices that interact with various cross-platform systems. Deploy applications to cloud environments and manage their lifecycle. Monitor performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high availability and speed. Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for software solutions.

Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in Java and Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure) are preferred.
