The Analytics & Program Support Team is part of the Chief Technology Organization, providing state-of-the-art analytics and reporting related to Program Management and Engineering efficiency. The team is a key player in the digital transformation journey of NXP for the Research&Development data domain.

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, efficiency, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SQL, proficient in applying SQL with Python for data manipulation and analysis, and possesses a solid understanding of AWS systems, including Lambda and RDS.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines using SQL and Python.- Optimize and troubleshoot existing data processes to improve efficiency and reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.- Design, build, and maintain data warehouses and databases on AWS platforms, such as RDS.- Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure data integrity and privacy.- Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and take on a broad range of responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.- 1.5 to 2 years of Work experience is preferred.- Experience in data engineering with at least one modern scripting of programming language such as Python and SQL.- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines in AWS environment, using e.g. Lambda, RDS, S3, Redshift, EventBridge and SQS.- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.- Experience with version control systems like Git for managing codebase.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Fluent in English

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Pragmatic approach- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
