About the Role:Cloudsek is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test 2 (SDET 2) to contribute to the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity products. As an SDET 2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced automated testing solutions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our software.

Responsibilities:

Led the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and strategies for complex cybersecurity products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and quality assurance engineers, to understand product architecture, features, and requirements.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate the functionality, performance, and security aspects of our products.Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of excellence.Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for efficient and reliable testing.Investigate and analyze test results, identify trends, and work closely with the development team to address and resolve issues promptly.Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong background in automated testing.Proficient in Python and other relevant programming languages.Extensive experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Pytest, and others.In-depth knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools for testing APIs.Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and expertise in software testing methodologies.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms and services.Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and practices.Previous experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
