Senior AI Engineer

We're looking for passionate team members who are driven by “ask for forgiveness, not permission” mentality to accomplish our mission, are excited by an environment where the hardest problems are yet to be solved and are eager to learn and collaborate in our Bangalore office.
Position Summary
In this role, you’ll own the development of software and infra that power the SOAIS Agent driven workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with early customers to rapidly prototype and iterate based on feedback.
The ideal candidate is a software engineer who has worked on building scalable systems and is passionate about building infrastructure that accelerates the development of, and leverages, agentic LLMs. You should enjoy working closely with a fast-paced team, while maintaining high engineering standards.
Qualifications:
6+ years of software engineering experience preferably as part of a product engineering team.
Strong Proficiency with Python including generics, typing, reflection and concurrency.
Proficiency in modular programming especially with Python.
Conceptual understanding of prompt engineering techniques such as CoT, ReAct, RAG, function and tools-based approaches and multi-step flows using AI Agents.
Strong familiarity with atleast one of the common LLM libraries/sdks such as OpenAI SDK, LlamaIndex, LangChain, Instructor, autogen etc.
Well conversant with cloud platforms, containerization, and agile development methodologies.
Passion for developing scalable, well-tested and well-designed software.
Good to have Skills:
Familiarity with HuggingFace or other SFT/RLHF, QLORA Finetuning libraries.
Familiarity with LLM services from cloud providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, AWS, Vertex AI etc
Familiarity with libraries and services for LLM Prompting experimentation and LLM evaluations.
Cloud/local LLM deployment and monitoring.
