Sharepoint Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect to join our team, specializing in designing and implementing end-to-end SharePoint and Microsoft-based solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) stack, Microsoft.NET, Microsoft Azure, and the Power Platform, as well as expertise in SharePoint architecture, deployment, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture and Solution Design:

• Design and implement SharePoint architecture solutions for collaboration, document management, and content management that align with business needs and industry best practices.
• Develop scalable, secure, and robust applications using Microsoft.NET and SharePoint frameworks.
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SSIS, SSRS) to enable data visualization, reporting, and analytics for end-users.

Azure Cloud Services:

• Design and deploy SharePoint environments in Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and security.
• Leverage Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, and other relevant services to enhance SharePoint capabilities.
• Manage hybrid SharePoint environments with integrations between on-premises and cloud environments.

Power Platform Integration:

• Utilize the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents) to extend SharePoint functionality, automate workflows, and enable low-code/no-code solutions for rapid development.
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop custom Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to meet specific business requirements.

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and support.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing with other IT team members and business stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance:

• Establish and enforce SharePoint governance policies, ensuring data security, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides to facilitate solution adoption and ongoing support.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on Microsofts evolving BI, SharePoint, .NET, Azure, and Power Platform technologies.
• Recommend and implement best practices for SharePoint architecture, data analytics, and system integration to ensure long-term solution stability and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in architecting, configuring, and deploying SharePoint (SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises).
• Proficiency with Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Strong .NET development skills for custom web parts, apps, and backend services within SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure AD, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in building applications with Power Apps, creating workflows with Power Automate, and developing dashboards with Power BI.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Effective project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft certifications in SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, or related technologies.
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
