Roles and Responsibilities:
The person will be responsible for development of Java Spring based compute framework on AWS cloud
Will be responsible for addressing development problems, Java/AWS design, code standards, code reviews etc
Leverage best practices to design, implement, test and support cloud based solution
Analyze framework consumer requirements, create technical specifications to design or redesign framework components.
Acts as a expert technical resource to address implementation challenges faces by consumers of framework
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported areas
Perform test automation in a test driven development environment
Implements DevOps concepts tools & continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Maven etc
Implement instrumentation to gather business specific metrics around consumer usage patterns
Skills & Experience Requirements:
BE/BS or equivalent
Experience developing AWS cloud native java applications
Experience developing in a microservice architecture using docker containers
5+ Years of design, programming experience with Java/Spring/REST/Microservice on Linux platform
Additional experience in Python, Node JS is an advantage
Minimum 2 years of experience developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud EC2, ECS, ELB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, IAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB and other AWS services
Experience doing IAC (Infrastructure as Code) using AWS CDK or Terraform.
Experience on DevOps and tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Jira etc
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
