KeyResponsibilities:
·Oversee the end-to-end projectmanagement lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and post-releaseanalysis.
·Manage release cycles, ensuringtimely and successful deployments while coordinating with various teams toidentify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
·Track and manage project defects,ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.
·Facilitate weekend releases,ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed about the release processand any potential impacts.
·Generate and distribute detailedrelease reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areasfor improvement.
·Work with teams post-release tounderstand challenges, gather feedback, and identify areas for processimprovement.
·Demonstrate a solid understanding ofautomation pipelines, testing quality assurance processes, and productiondeployment strategies.
·Utilize project management tools(GitLab, Confluence, ADO/TFS, Jira, ServiceNow) to track progress, managetasks, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
·Provide expert advice on projectmanagement best practices, methodologies, and tools.
·Mentor and guide junior projectmanagers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
RequiredSkills and Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inProject Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or arelated field.
·8+ years of experience in project orprogram management with a focus on release management and software developmentprojects.
·Proven experience managing complexprojects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
·Strong knowledge of automationpipelines, testing quality assurance, and production deployment processes.
·Proficiency with project managementand collaboration tools such as GitLab, Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO)/TeamFoundation Server (TFS), Jira, and ServiceNow.
·Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
·Strong leadership and interpersonalskills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical andnon-technical stakeholders.
·Excellent organizational andtime-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
·Detail-oriented with a focus ondelivering high-quality results.
