We are seeking a talented UI/UX Lead with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our growing team at WhiteCoats, a leading healthcare technology company. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the design vision, building scalable design systems, and delivering intuitive, user-centered digital healthcare experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams while mentoring a team of designers to create impactful healthcare solutions.

As the UI/UX Lead, you will play a key role in shaping product experiences for doctors, patients, and internal teams. You will lead by example, guiding designers to create innovative, accessible, and delightful user experiences that drive adoption and impact in the healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Senior Associate, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers.

• Define and drive the overall design vision and strategy for WhiteCoats’ healthcare applications.

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive designs.

• Create and manage design systems, style guides, and reusable components for consistency and scalability.

•Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma/Adobe XD.

•Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate design decisions.

•Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards, responsive principles, and cross-platform compatibility.

•Work closely with frontend developers to ensure design handoff and implementation quality.

•Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

•Advocate for user-centered design across the organization.

Requirements

•5-7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a mentorship role.

•Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, UX workflows, and interactive prototypes.

•Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar tools.

•Hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, user research, and usability testing.

•Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

•Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).

•Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

•Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

Nice to Have

Experience with healthcare or SaaS product design.

•Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular) for better developer collaboration.

•Exposure to data visualization and dashboard design.

•Knowledge of motion design, micro-interactions, or animation tools (After Effects, Principle, Lottie).

•Experience with design ops and scaling design processes across teams.
