Senior IT Infrastructure Program Delivery Manager

Duties
Develop and manage IT- Infrastructure deliveries from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, hardware procurement, resource allocation, and project execution coordinating remote work closely with Technical and Functional teams.
Provide program management and direction to ensure the project team has a clear understanding of timelines, risks, escalation path and roles/responsibilities they will undertake within the Infrastructure team.
Own updates and knowledge documentation regarding hardware and equipment standards to ensure appropriate hardware standards are met and the correct equipment procured.
Serve as a liaison between all I&O associates, Development and Application teams and Customer (both internal and external).
Identify and manage Visual Management KPIs in accordance to STERIS' Lean principles and guidelines to lead Infrastructure management boards.
Provide on-site monitoring and enforcement of installation schedules and vendor quality, inspect prospective and completed facilities in accordance with IT infrastructure standards and procedures as needed, and ensure proper follow-up.
Facilitate formal turn-over with IT production teams and monitor deliverables until agreed upon launch/deliverable milestone is achieved.
Update or develop documentation on processes that are critical to successfully implementing the deliverables
Identify opportunities to streamline deployments, share best practices with peers and leaders, and implement continuous improvement / Lean actions on a regular basis.
Act as an escalation point for other Program Managers. Collaborate to ensure standards are being followed and offer guidance that will ensure success.
Experience Requirements
In a numbered list, describe specific skills and/or business competencies:
1. Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field highly preferred, 8+ years of experience without a Bachelors' Degree.
2. 5+ years of experience managing large global IT projects from initiation to closure.
3. 4 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
4. Experience with core IT infrastructure components and service concepts.
5. Experience managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise and influencing others and problem solving.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills.
7. Ability to successfully manage cross-functional Program Deliveries involving multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management.
8. Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telecommunications, Systems Administration, Database administration, and Cloud Computing
9. Experience with procurement of IT equipment.
