Overall Objectives of Job:

Candidate is responsible frDesign, develop, and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or other relevant tools.Create data transformation processes using SQL, Python, or Spark to prepare data for analysis and reporting.Integrate data from multiple sourcesImplement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline with IDMC tools.Provide data for advanced analytics, machine learning models, and reporting.Maintain and create data model and design based on business requirements.Experience with Azure Synapse dedicates SQL pools, shared SQL pools and Spark.Prepare consumption layer for PowerBI reporting.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts on Azure.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or other data warehousing solutionsProficiency in designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other services.Familiarity with tools and languages used for data transformation, such as SQL, Python, or Spark.Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.Excellent understanding of core Azure services like Azure Storage, Azure Synapse dedicated Sql pools, Azure Data Lake, PowerBI, and Azure Synapse AnalyticsUnderstanding of Azure Data Lake architecture, data storage, and management is an added advantage.Good Team player and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with other technical, functional team members to deliver projects on time.Exposure to SDLC and Agile process.

Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional SkillsGraduate or Postgraduate in Engineering or a Postgraduate in non-engineering disciplinesExperience of 6 to 9 years.Advanced level certification on data engineering in at least one cloud platform, Azure preferred.Proven Experience in data modelling conceptsAt least 3–4-years of experience in data engineering technologies
