  • The Ticketing Coordinator plays acrucial role in managing incident tickets and ensuring timelyresolution of technical issues within the organization. Thisposition involves overseeing the ticketing system assigning ticketsto technicians and coordinating with various teams to ensureefficient handling of incidents.
Responsibilities: Ticket Management:
  • Monitorand manage the ticketing system to ensure all incoming tickets areproperly logged and categorized.
  • Prioritize tickets based on urgency impactand service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Review ticket details to understand thenature of the issue and gather necessary information forresolution.
Ticket Assignment:
  • Assign tickets to appropriate techniciansbased on their skillset workload and availability.
  • Ensure equitable distribution oftickets among team members to optimize efficiency and workloadbalance.
  • Monitorticket progress and follow up with assigned technicians to ensuretimely resolution.
Incident Coordination:
  • Act as a central point of contact for allincidentrelated communications.
  • Coordinate with various teams including technicalsupport IT operations and service desk to escalate and resolvecomplex issues.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to provideupdates on ticket status and resolution progress.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidenttickets including details of the reported issues troubleshootingsteps and resolution outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports on ticket metrics includingticket volume resolution times and SLA compliance.
  • Analyze ticket data to identifytrends recurring issues and areas for improvement in the incidentmanagement process.
ContinuousImprovement:
  • Identify opportunities tostreamline and optimize the ticketing process for improvedefficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams toimplement best practices and standardize procedures for incidentmanagement.
  • Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharingactivities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the ticketingteam.
