Reporting to: Senior Manager

Work Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM 

Job Summary:  

Tax Collars Private Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Executive with strong skills in GST, auditing, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in GST, auditing, and managing multiple tasks efficiently. In this role, you will support the Senior Manager in audit activities, coordinate with teams, manage schedules, and handle detailed audit processes. The role involves traveling to various departments and client locations, managing team activities, and ensuring effective time management. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct detailed audits of financial records and operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. 
  • Identify risks and potential areas for improvement and prepare and present audit reports to management. 
  • Stay updated with auditing best practices and legal requirements, assisting in the development of internal controls and policies. 
  • Manage GST Monthly and Annual Return filings and handle GST litigations, including drafting replies to notices, filing appeals, and attending personal hearings at the department. 
  • Follow up with departments for timely processing of cases and coordinate GST compliance-related tasks. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and internal teams. 
  • Approach challenges with an open mind and proactively suggest improvements. 
  • Interpret financial data, legal documents, and GST regulations, providing analysis and recommendations. 
  • Travel frequently to departments and client locations, ensuring effective coordination. 
  • Lead and manage a team of junior auditors, overseeing daily operations to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. 
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure smooth communication across teams. 
  • Manage and prioritize the Senior Manager's calendar, scheduling meetings, travel, and tasks. 
  • Prepare daily reports on time utilization, activities, and task statuses for the Senior Manager. 
  • Act as a personal assistant, helping prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 

Key Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). 
  • 0.6- 1 years of relevant experience, especially in GST. 
  • Strong proficiency in communication (both written and verbal). 
  • Open-minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
  • Strong interpretational and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to manage time, tasks, and calendar efficiently. 
  • Comfortable with frequent travel, especially to departments and clients. 
  • Proficiency in English and Tamil; knowledge of Hindi is a plus. 
  • Strong team management and coordination skills.
