Job Description: Social Media - Paid Internship
Position Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation, management, and execution of our social media strategies. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and to develop a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, monitor social media channels, and analyze performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Scheduling and Posting: Help schedule and post content across all social media channels using social media management tools.
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, and prepare reports with key insights and recommendations.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance our social media presence.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals and campaigns.
  • Research: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform our social media strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Passion for Social Media: Demonstrated passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to create engaging and visually appealing content.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
  • Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of social media analytics and ability to interpret data.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive Attitude: Energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
  • Previous experience in a social media role or internship.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
