Role Description
This is a full-time role for BIM Modelers at Core Technologies Consultants in their Chennai branch office in India. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for building information modeling, collaborating with architects, Interior designer, various MEP disciplines and creating design drawings and model.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage ICT BIM models for various systems including:
ICT Systems
Structured Cabling Systems
Audio Visual Systems
Security Systems
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Develop and maintain accurate, coordinated, and efficient Revit models for ELV and ICT systems.
Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless integration and coordination with other building systems such as Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, and MEP systems.
Produce high-quality drawings, documentation, and reports, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Conduct clash detection, model coordination, and resolution to ensure project success and adherence to timelines.
Support the project team in ensuring all project standards and workflows are followed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in ICT/ELV Revit BIM modeling.
Strong knowledge of ICT systems, structured cabling, AV, Security, and Building Management Systems.
Expertise in BIM tools, particularly Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
Ability to coordinate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in clash detection and model coordination.
Diploma in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3years of relevant experience in ICT/ELV BIM modeling.
Prior experience in a consultancy environment is an advantage.
