Job Description

• Design and implement highly efficient and scalable data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines on AWS.

• Develop and manage data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Redshift, Kafka, Glue, and Glue Studio.

• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security of data systems by implementing best practices and industry standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.

• Optimize data models, database schemas, and ETL processes for performance and efficiency.

• Implement data governance, data quality, data security, and data lineage processes to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

• Automate and streamline data engineering processes through CI/CD pipelines.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS data services, technologies, and best practices, and evangelize their adoption within the organization.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to data engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing data architectures on AWS, with a strong focus on the AWS Analytics stack (Lambda, S3, Redshift, Kafka, Glue, Glue Studio).

• Deep understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing principles and best practices.

• Expertise in architecting and implementing highly performant and scalable data lakes and data warehouses.

• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools used for data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL, Spark).

• Experience with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
